Dr Kitty spent 2 years learning and practicing in Australia, before returning home in 2010 to continue practicing veterinary care in Singapore.
Dr Kitty has special interest in feline medicine and soft tissue surgery. She further completed a postgraduate course in feline medicine with the University of Sydney in 2013 and a Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture course with the Chi Institute to upskill and avail alternative medicine options when appropriate.
She now has 6 cats, 3 dogs and 2 young boys living harmoniously under one WOOF!
Clinic Receptionist / Admin
James moved to Singapore from the UK in 2015. From the English countryside to the city living of Singapore, he has always been surrounded by animals great and small. James has over 10 years experience working in the service industry and his belief is to make people feel welcome by serving with a smile.
James volunteers at the Animal Lovers League during his spare time, providing fur friends with love, care and companionship.
He now shares his home with a rescued domestic short hair.
Clinic Receptionist / Admin
Jonathan has 8 years experience working as receptionist and has managed people from all walks of life, across continents. He is able to quickly connect with people and understand their needs.
Jonathan has been pet sitting since 2015. He is confident with animal handling and enjoys connecting with them.
He has compassion and love for fur friends and will try to provide what’s best for them.
Karen earned herself 2 diplomas in Singapore. A diploma in Biotechnology (Singapore Polytechnic, 2011) and a Specialist diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 2018). She has a good exposure of animal care and handling, having been a zookeeper, dog groomer and pet massage practitioner.
Karen was inspired and motivated to pursue her 2nd diploma and joined the vet nursing field after caring for a very sick cat, which she eventually adopted.
She now has cats, 1 dog, 1 special-needs macaw and 2 tanks of fishes and shrimps.
Lee Anne has been a veterinary nurse since 2015. Growing up with regular interaction with stray cats and dogs, Lee Anne has a soft spot for community and shelter animals. Prior to being a nurse, she spent many years working and caring for numerous shelter fur friends.
Lee Anne has been a volunteer at ACRES since 2014. She is familiar with handling and providing basic treatment for birds, reptiles and wild mammals such as wild boars and civets.
Lee Anne cares for several cats at home, mostly rescued from abandonment, abuse or culling.
Raniel completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Cavite State University, Philippines in 2015 and has been working as a veterinary technician in Singapore since 2017.
He has a keen interest in vet nursing, small animal emergency, critical care and diagnostic imaging. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, trekking, reading books, watching Netflix films and browsing cute cat memes online.
Liyana started volunteering at the SPCA when she was 16 and joined the veterinary industry in 2016.
Prior to this, Liyana was in fashion merchandising. She had an epiphany revelation and found her calling to help the unheard voices of fur-friends. She is fulfilling her passion and would like to pursue her Nursing Certificate IV, delving more in the diverse wildlife.
During her free time, she will attend to her tiny garden of herbs and succulents. Liyana finds it enlightening in discovering places less traveled through her backpacking journeys while making more fur-friends and friends around the world.
