Dr Kitty has more than 15 years of veterinary care practice in Singapore.
With a special interest in feline medicine and soft tissue surgery, she completed a postgraduate course in feline medicine at the University of Sydney in 2013. She continues to upskill and seek alternative medicine options by completing the Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture course with the Chi Institute.<\/p>\n

Dr Kitty is passionate about offering affordable and quality veterinary healthcare to her clients and their beloved companions. She works closely with shelters and community caregivers to provide the required veterinary care and support when needed.<\/p>\n

Dr. Genevieve Lim<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Dr Genevieve earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and also obtained a degree in Biomedical Science and Animal Health from Murdoch University, Australia. She is passionate about her profession and takes pride in providing quality care for animals.<\/p>\n

Dr Genevieve has an adventurous palate and loves trying new varieties of tea. In her free time, she can often be found savouring her favourite blend while researching her next travel destination and its top attractions. She prefers mountain views over beaches because she finds the beauty of the outdoors captivating. She enjoys hiking and has explored many scenic trails, gaining a deeper appreciation for nature along the way.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ng Zi Yan<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Dr. Zi Yan graduated from Massey University and worked in New Zealand for couple of years before moving back to Singapore. She has a special interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery. During her days off, Dr. Zi Yan likes to relax at home with her cats and do random crafts.<\/p>\n

James Doe<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Originally from the UK countryside, James moved to Singapore in 2015 and started his career in the veterinary industry. He joined the Furiends family in 2018, supported in the setting up of Furiends Veterinary Clinic and quickly became and integral part of the team.<\/p>\n

James has an extensive experience in veterinary practice operations management and client management, ensuring the daily smooth operations of Furiends while prioritizing the exceptional experience for both pawrents and furkids.<\/p>\n

James shares his home with a rescued cat who has become a beloved member of his family. With a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their owners, He brings empathy and efficiency to his role, while maintaining high standards aligned with the practice\u2019s core values.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathan Lin<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Clinic Receptionist \/ Admin<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathan has 8 years of experience working as a receptionist and has managed people from all walks of life, across continents. He can quickly connect with people and understand their needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathan has been pet-sitting since 2015. He is confident with animal handling and enjoys connecting with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has compassion and love for fur friends and will try to provide what’s best for them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Karen Chng<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Veterinary<\/em> Nurse<\/span><\/p>\n

Karen earned herself 2 diplomas in Singapore. A diploma in Biotechnology (Singapore Polytechnic, 2011) and a Specialist diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 2018). She has good exposure to animal care and handling, having been a zookeeper, dog groomer and pet massage practitioner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Karen was inspired and motivated to pursue her 2nd diploma and joined the vet nursing field after caring for a very sick cat, which she eventually adopted.<\/span><\/p>\n

She now has cats, 1 dog, 1 special-needs macaw and 2 tanks of fish and shrimps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Melvin Lee<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Veterinary Nurse<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Melvin joined our team in early 2022. He brings along 4 solid years of pet grooming experience, equipped with excellent pet handling skills and pet behavioural knowledge. He seeks to upskill himself through his enrolment in Temasek Polytechnic\u2019s Diploma in Veterinary Technology.<\/p>\n

Melvin is passionate about helping people and animals since young. Hence, being able to be part of the animals\u2019 recovery process and helping to positively impact one\u2019s life are great motivation drivers for him to do well in his current role.<\/p>\n

Seah Xue Ting<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Veterinary Nurse<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

With over a decade of dedicated service in the healthcare industry, Xue Ting brings a deep well of experience and compassion to our team. Her nursing journey has led her through a variety of roles, including grooming, clinic management, and serving as a trusted and dependable veterinary nurse.<\/p>\n

In addition to her clinical expertise, Xue Ting is certified in animal healing and animal communication\u2014skills that allow her to connect with animals on a deeper level and support their emotional as well as physical well-being. Her special focus on palliative care highlights her commitment to providing comfort and dignity to animals during their most vulnerable moments.<\/p>\n

Felicia Goh<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Veterinary Nurse<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Felicia is a dedicated Veterinary Nurse with a strong passion for wildlife and animal care. Before her transition into veterinary nursing, she spent five years as a zookeeper, gaining extensive experience working with furred, scaly and feathered friends of various sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Felicia completed the Temasek Polytechnic\u2019s Diploma in Veterinary Technology, further equipping her with the skills to provide high-quality care in both clinical and zoological settings. Beyond her professional work, she actively participates in citizen science surveys and enjoys exploring nature parks in her free time to observe and appreciate wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has experience working with both small animals and horses in Australia and has had a deep love for them since childhood.
